I like it, though I don't see a way to search for font characterizations (idk the right word) such as "slab" or only show fonts matching name substring such as "roboto".
Also, I'm on Debian and I had to do a deep dig to discover I could install with:
sudo apt install thunar-font-manager
(Please only do this if you're familiar with using apt and use Thunar file manager. )
On Debian 12 it runs Font Manager 0.8.8, not the latest 0.9.4. When I have more time, I'll probably build it from source.

What is Font Manager?
Font Manager is intended to provide a way for average users to easily manage desktop fonts, without having to resort to command line tools or editing configuration files by hand. While designed primarily with the Gnome Desktop Environment in mind, it should work well with other Gtk+ desktop environments. Font Manager is NOT a professional-grade font management solution.

Well designed and with good filters.

no bad but only shows GTK based-app fallback behavior no option to support non-GTK apps (Qt, WxWidgets, EFL, Tk, Motif, GNUsteps, FLTK, Athena, Electron, raw X apps, etc.)
It can install thousands of fonts from a ZIP file. Truly amazing!
