For me, YouTube Music stands out as one of the best online music platforms. Here’s why:
Besides that, you can achieve the premium experience with ad-free and screen-off using as a website with an ad-blocker (like ublock extension on firefox) or as an Android app patched with revanced manager. And for downloading audio you can just dowload the audios with a downloader like yt-dlp.
The only downside is that the recommendation system is not very good and the audio quality is no the best with 256 kbps AAC.
Easy to remove ads and mod. Lacks the synchronous play from Spotify witch is not planned for implementation
It's an acceptable service. I believe it benefits from being bundled with YouTube Premium, and the cost is reasonable. However, the web app can be sluggish and prone to glitches. While the interface is tidy, it feels a bit cumbersome.
It has every music from underrated to overrated, unlike Spotify.
It's a tolerable service. I think it's saved by the fact it comes with YouTube Premium and the price isn't too high. The web application can get slow and buggy. The UI is clean, but clunky.
You also get YouTube Premium with it, which removes ads from YouTube. Huge bonus IMO.
Not privacy-friendly, but IMO is the best music service to date
